The Morrison Foundation gift will pave the way for a renovation of the Stony Brook Men’s and Women’s Basketball suite along with improvements to the locker room.  The basketball suite project is currently in the design phase with the with the anticipated completion date in the fall of 2017.

“The trajectory of Stony Brook Athletics has created a new level of excitement for Seawolves fans and the Long Island community,” said Rich Morrison.  “For Mary and I, it is a true honor to be able to make an impact on the men’s and women’s basketball programs and we sincerely hope that our gift will inspire others to join us in this noble venture to positively transform the lives of SBU student-athletes, the community and the national stature of Stony Brook University.”
